Be Conscious Travels Apartments

So now you know how to arrive to La Gomera, but how to get to Be Conscious Travels Ecoapartments La Gomera? ¡Easy peasy!

There are MANY ways to get here but we will tell you our options.

  • Sharing a ride from San Sebastian to Alajeró,
  • Bus or also known as Guagua here in the islands,
  • Renting a car, and
  • Walking.

Sharing a ride from San Sebastian to Alajeró (eco option).

Car sharingIt may sound weird, we know. Nowadays is a bit complicated to trust people, but what is life without trust? Just think about it. Most of the people that will be traveling with you on the ferry or plane are also on a holiday and more open about giving someone a ride.

Just start a conversation, ask them where are they going, perhaps this talk turns into a lifetime friendship. Who knows?

Bus or Guagua (eco option).

The guaguas are one of the best options to move around the island. From the dock in San Sebastián (line 3) or at the airport (line 3 or 6), you will be able to catch the bus that brings you home. The bus lines are numbers 3 and 6, and our bus stop is called Tejena (next stop after the restaurant Mesón de Clemente).

Check the website from Guagua Gomera for more information.

Keep in mind that they mention departure time and not at what time the bus will be at certain bus stop.

Renting a car.

Car rentalIf you are planning a big holiday including several islands, you can rent a car in Tenerife and move around the islands without any issues. Renting a car in La Gomera is super easy, but we highly suggest that you make the booking with the company in advance.

Walking  (more eco, impossible!)

HikeOk. By now perhaps you think that we are insane. No, we are not! Many people around Europe come to La Gomera to walk it. There are two main routes here, called GR131 and GR132.

The route GR132 is about 120 km and it’s divided into 5 difficult stages. One of the towns visited during that route is Alajeró.

So in case, you are planning on doing the GR132 in 5 days, don’t hesitate to book with us. We accept one-nighters 🙂
