La Gomera is an island that belongs to Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain’s Canary Islands. Is located in the Atlantic Ocean, near Africa. So as you can imagine, the weather is always good. In case of rain, grab your things and visit other sites on the island. The island is quite small, so you can actually travel around it in a couple of days. The island is full of history and many traditions are still alive and vivid.

It has 6 municipalities: Agulo, Alajeró, Hermigua, San Sebastián de la Gomera, Valle Gran Rey, and Vallehermoso. All of them have their charms! We will be sharing with you our favorite places soon, but in case you want to know about our Top 5, leave us a comment.

Here they have a special language, a whistling language, called Silbo Gomero. YUP! Check out the following video.
