Suite 6 is located in Alajeró town from La Gomera. A very quiet village, and perfect to destress from your daily hectic life.
La Gomera is the best place to write, paint, read, discover, work online (we have amazing WI-FI), reflect, meditate, disconnect, and reconnect with your true self.
This place has spectacular views of the ravine Ereses, where you can contemplate wonderful sunsets while enjoying a cup of tea or a glass of wine at the patio.
It is a studio that has all the things that you may need while your staying with us. It also includes a small patio with a sunbed, table and 2 chairs; perfect for those days that you just want to stay at home and chill.
We consider it as our big star since all our guests love it and is booked most of the time. So don’t hesitate and book it now with us or through Airbnb!
Special characteristics:
- is an ecoapartment;
- allows up to two pets (additional cost per night and per pet);
- has an outdoor patio with amazing views of the Tagaragunche mountain, the ocean, and the ravine;
- the washing machine service is free after the second night of stay;
- the patio is shared with the apartment from above, but is private;
- the ceiling at the bathroom and kitchen is low. We highly suggest that the top height of our guests is no more than 1,70 m (5,57 ft) for more comfortability.
Avoiding human contact? No worries! We got your back 😉 At the entrance of the suite there is a Smartlock box (key safe), so you can check-in at the time you want (the check-in is from 14.00). Twenty four hours prior to your arrival, we will provide you your code and also the check-in link.
About Alajeró
Alajeró is a quiet town of about 150 inhabitants, so there will be silence and the chirping of birds that visit us daily. The apartments are located next to the ravine, so you can enjoy beautiful views of the sea and the mountains.
Any services in Alajeró?
Near the apartments, we have two restaurants (Mesón de Clemente and the Kiosk, in the Plaza), a supermarket (Spar), the Townhall, Post mail office, a school, and several bus stops.
If you need more services, the nearest town is Playa Santiago with many options. It is located 15 minutes from your suite (by car).
What if you need something during your stay? Can you reach us out?
We, Niels and Priya, are almost ALWAYS available for our guests. Besides that, we live in and work at the finca, so we can always come if needed.
For us, hosting is more than cleaning up a room, give keys, and say goodbye. For us is receiving old good friends that we haven’t seen for a while.
How is the weather in Alajeró?
Alajeró is located at 800 meters above sea level. The weather up here is different than sea level, that is for sure.
During winter the temperature in Alajeró can be a bit colder and chillier, so we recommend bringing a good sweater and warm socks in the suitcase. In all our apartments we have portable heaters and extra blankets if needed, but is always better to come prepared!
Ah, and don’t forget to bring a raincoat for the National Park.
Is the beach or the national park Garajonay nearby?
The nearest beach, Playa Santiago.
From Alajeró to Playa Santiago by car, takes about 15 minutes. If you are planning on walking, the path that takes you there takes around 3 hours. Is a beautiful walk, that could end in a refreshing and calming sea bath. Sounds good, right?
National Park Garajonay.
The National Park Garajonay is pretty close to our land by car. It takes around 30 minutes to arrive at Pajarito, where the island gets divided by the different roads that lead you to discover every magic corner of the island.
